About 10 or 15 people from Eve corporation have created accounts. We will be colonizing the islands around 44:90 as well. I personally would like to settle my first colony on a Sulpher Island named Nuvious and then settle a marble colony after that on an island named Engaios. Once those two are at full steam I would destroy my starting city and make another colony on the wine (and my wife will make one on the crystal) next to it.
We don't necessarily have to have every spot on whatever island we occupy filled, though it would be nice, it is not necessary. As long as we have 90% of the islands filled in with eve players all in the same alliance in that area it won't really be safe for anyone to raid or attack us cause we would all have a quick response to the other islands in the area. So basically I have directed all my members to colonise 44:90 area on whichever island matches there need the most and has the best wonder for their goals and/or playstyle.

I was just coming here to post the above link. It looks as though alliances will be very small tight knit groups rather than massive blobs (something Eve could learn a thing or two about imo). Even having 8 people in your alliance at this point would be pretty impressive. I doubt we will all be able to get into the same alliance as you would need 4 level 4 embassys to hold 16 people. I may just settle right near you guys (44:90) and form an alliance with just my corp mates as I have about 15 people from my corp on Gamma now and we can just be two alliances that are friendly towards each other.

The link above states the exact opposite and I have read a few other threads that confirm the same. I do not believe you can from everything I have read. Have you actually donated points to your alliance yet?

Me and my wife will be settling on the g*****island [44:90] Rodoetia. Her name is Issendai and mine is Rhaegor so don't pillage us when you see us appear on the island.

Once you have 3 colonies on an island it opens up to newbie spawns, but it will not fill any island past 10 people so the remaining 6 spots will stay open for us to colonize and I am sure we can drive off the noobs by constant pillaging 6 times per day. That said, about 4 of the new people on the g*****island all have chinese farmer names and I bet are some sort of bot or something and will either go inactive or we can petition them.
I settled on the Sulpher island at 45:90 named Nuvious instead of the g*****island. My wife will settle on the g*****island at 44:90 later today. I will eventually place another colony on the grape, but for now I thought it best if between me and my wife we had all 4 materials.

I am sure they will stay awhile at first, but if we are constantly pillaging them, as I imagine we will more for the resources than anything, they will eventually quit and leave the island.

In an earlier post it was mentioned that we would be using island 43:90 Pereutia for our crystal island, but the island located at 45:91 named Endentia has a much better wonder imo and I suggest we settle there instead. Reduced troop and war machines production costs. I would use that colony for all of my troop production if possible. Anyway, just wanted to suggest it.

It looks as though all the passive add 10% to your harvest wonders do work, as does the reduces troop production cost one, which are the islands I will be settling myself.
Might I make another suggestion, that all of us Eve players rename our cities with the word "Eve" as a prefix? So since my city name is currently "Pestilence" I would rename is "Eve-Pestilence" so that we all can tell easily that we are part of the Eve group?

Either someone is purchasing the goods before your ships arrive to claim them, or the guy you are trying to purchase from has his port blockaded at the moment and your ships can not claim their goods.

Just wanted to post that my wife has a colony on the main g*****island at 44:90. Her name is Issendai and her down name is Isla. I will be putting up my second colony in the Eve alliance area tomorrow on the marble island 46:91.
Also, I applied to the Eve alliance with my character as did my wife with hers. Please accept the applications asap.

You may note I called this on page 3 or 4 of this thread. Eve could take a lesson from this game when it comes to limiting corp/alliance size. I mean, it would be simple for any large group to band together hundreds of players are dominate everyone else. Same goes for Eve, and as we all know, it has not played out well for the players nor CCP.

You have to apply through your embassy, but yeah I took one other person outside my corporation as well, so might as well let whoever as long as I have room.

Yes. It is mostly people from my corporation, but I will take other Eve players as well if they need a home and Eve alliance can't fit them.
